Clients choose only the very best, and some profiles remain in our talent pool until the right opportunity aligns. When the match happens, it is because it truly fits your skills, goals, and working style.
Initial Screening
We review your application and add qualified profiles to our talent pool.
Initial Interview
If your profile matches a client need, you will meet with a Coconut Hiring Manager to assess role fit.
Client Vetting
Top candidates are shortlisted and shared with the client.
Client Interview
If selected, you will meet the client to assess skills, working style, culture, and personality fit.
Paid Trial
You and the client work together for a 40 hour paid trial to confirm mutual fit.
Officially Hired
Successful trials lead to full onboarding as Managed Talent or direct endorsement for Direct Hire roles.
Benefits may vary depending on tenure and full-time/part-time status.

Anywhere. Coconut works with global professionals across multiple countries and regions.
Do you provide training?
Coconut typically works with seasoned virtual professionals. While we do not provide new hire training, our Managed Talents have access to LinkedIn Learning for ongoing upskilling and the Coconut Community for additional resources. Direct Hire talents may receive training directly from their clients, depending on the role.
Do you require time trackers?
Coconut does not require time trackers. While some clients may request one, we use a built in platform where virtual professionals submit productivity reports instead.
What time zone will I be working in?
This depends on the client and the role. Some positions are fully flexible, some require partial overlap, and others follow a specific time zone. This is usually based on where your client is located, such as the US, Europe, or Australia.
How long does it take to get matched with a client?
Timelines vary. Client matching depends on role availability and fit. Some profiles are matched quickly, while others remain in the talent pool until the right opportunity aligns.
Can I apply even if I am currently employed or have an existing client?
Yes. As long as there is no conflict of interest and you are able to manage your time and commitments effectively, you are welcome to apply.
Can I apply to multiple openings?
Yes, but it is best to customize your application for each role. This helps highlight the specific skills and experience the client is looking for.
Can I resubmit my application to the talent pool?
There is no need to resubmit unless you have significant updates such as new skills, additional experience, or a revised profile.
Do I need to use a specific template for my resume or CV?

Can I adjust my hire from full-time to part-time later?
Yes, as long as both parties agree. Since you manage the hire directly, you can adjust hours, pay, and terms as needed.
