Our Founding Story
Before Coconut, Tyler Leber and Eric Espinosa built Venture Validator, a market research firm that helped founders test and validate startup ideas. As they went remote, they worked closely with virtual assistants and saw how transformative the right support could be.
After selling Venture Validator, they used the same validation frameworks to test a new idea. Founders should be able to scale with world-class virtual professionals, without hiring friction or guesswork.
That idea became Coconut.
Our Journey
In 2022, Dona Lacdao became CEO and strengthened Coconut’s recruitment, onboarding, and operations. Our community grew quickly through referrals and results.
By 2023, Coconut reached multi-million ARR and expanded beyond virtual assistants into operations, marketing, finance, and tech.
In 2024, George Munguia joined as cofounder to lead sales and marketing, accelerating growth.
In 2025, Coconut acquired SINQ, expanding our capabilities in staffing and operations.
Today, Coconut continues to grow internationally. We are building the future of remote work, one great partnership at a time, and we are just getting started.
